SiLaC Laser Treatment for Pilonidal Sinus

SiLaC (sinus laser closure) treats the pilonidal tract with a laser fibre through the existing openings, avoiding a large open wound in suitable patients.

How it is performed

After the tract is cleaned of hair and debris, the laser fibre is introduced and withdrawn under control so that the tract wall is closed. Openings remain small, which supports comfortable aftercare.
