Early-stage colorectal cancer can be silent. Recognising warning signs and timely colonoscopy improve the chance of early diagnosis.

- Blood in stool or rectal bleeding
- Unintentional weight loss
- Persistent abdominal discomfort or sensation of incomplete evacuation
- Iron-deficiency anaemia of unclear cause
Who is at higher risk?
- Family history of colorectal cancer or polyps
- Personal history of inflammatory bowel disease
- Certain hereditary syndromes

Role of colonoscopy
